Terms
Last updated September 2026. These are the standard terms behind every Showpiece agreement. Your signed agreement fills in the names, prices, and dates; where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
1. Parties
Elite Touch Ventures LLC, doing business as Showpiece and the client named in the agreement.
2. What Showpiece builds
A custom website for the client: a homepage plus up to five additional pages or sections, mobile-responsive, built to show what the business does and how to reach it, connected to the client’s domain, and linked to their Google Business Profile.
3. Not included
Photography, video, logo or brand design, written content beyond what the client provides or Showpiece drafts from it, paid ads (a separate add-on for Grow clients, quoted on the call), and anything not listed in the agreement. On a Core or Grow plan without a build, the plan covers the client’s existing website and Google Business Profile as described in the agreement. Extra work is quoted separately.
4. What the client provides
Photos, business details, hours, services, domain or registrar access if needed, and mockup feedback within five business days. The timeline pauses while Showpiece is waiting on the client.
5. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions before launch. One-time clients: $100 per change after launch, or move to a monthly plan.
6. Timeline
The site goes live within 2 business days of payment once the client has approved the final pass. That depends on the client providing what section 4 lists.
7. Payment
- Build with the Core plan: $1,049 is due at signing ($750 build fee plus the first month of Core). Core then bills $299 a month on the same date each month to the card on file.
- Build with the Grow plan: $1,349 is due at signing ($750 build fee plus the first month of Grow). Grow then bills $599 a month on the same date.
- Core alone: $299 a month. Grow alone: $599 a month. The first month is due at signing; the plan starts the day you pay.
- One-time site: $1,000 due at signing, in full.
- Monthly plans are month to month. Cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
- No work starts until payment clears. If a monthly payment fails, the site may be paused after 14 days of non-payment.
8. Hosting
Plan clients: hosting is included while the plan is active; after cancellation, files are handed over within 14 days. One-time clients: hosted free on Showpiece’s hosting with no time limit; either side can end hosting with 30 days’ notice, and files are handed over.
9. Ownership
The client owns the finished site files and their domain. Showpiece may show the work in its portfolio and on showpiece.agency. Third-party tools (hosting, fonts, plugins) stay under their own licenses.
10. No performance guarantee
Showpiece does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, or sales.
11. Liability
Showpiece’s total liability is limited to the amount the client has paid under the agreement. Showpiece is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Termination
Either party may end the agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Fees paid are non-refundable once work has started.
13. Governing law
California law governs. Disputes are handled in San Diego County.
14. Electronic signature
Typing your name and checking the consent box on a Showpiece agreement is a binding electronic signature under the US ESIGN Act and California UETA. Showpiece keeps a record of the signing details.
